Danny Amendola returns from injury in Rams' loss

Talented but injury-prone wide receiver Danny Amendola returned to start and finish the second half of the St. Louis Rams' 27-13 loss to the New York Jets on Sunday after suffering an apparent right foot injury.

Amendola headed to the locker room before halftime after being hurt without contact at the end of a pass route late in the second quarter. He limped off the field and headed to the trainer's table to get taped up.

Amendola missed most of last season with a dislocated elbow and was sidelined for three games earlier this season after going down with a dangerous clavicle injury. He had a huge game in his return last week, finishing with 11 receptions for 102 yards against the San Francisco 49ers.
