The newest member of the Chicago Bears family has arrived -- finally.

Cornerback Charles Tillman and his wife, Jackie, welcomed their daughter into the world Tuesday, the Chicago Tribune reported.

"Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers ... wife and baby are doing great," Tillman tweeted.

There was a fair amount of anxiety in Chicago last week when Tillman suggested he might miss last Sunday night's meeting between the Bears and Houston Texans. Tillman ultimately changed his mind and promised to play in the game, which the Bears lost anyway, 13-6.

This is the couple's fourth daughter, and we wish them well.
