Percy Harvin (ankle) out for Vikings-Lions game

Few wide receivers are more valuable to their offense than Minnesota Vikings wideout Percy Harvin. The Vikings will have to win without him on Sunday.

Megatron: I feel all right

It's been a season littered with injuries, but Calvin Johnson says his health is improving as time goes on. **More ...**

Ian Rapoport of NFL.com and NFL Network reports that Harvin is out for their Week 10 clash against the Detroit Lions after spraining his left ankle during last week's loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The Vikings later officially ruled out Harvin against the Lions.

Harvin could still be seen limping badly, according to Rapoport.

The Lions have been playing solid defense of late and didn't allow the Vikings to score an offensive touchdown when the two teams met earlier in the season. The Vikings still won, in large part because Harvin had a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Yeah, he can do that too. With quarterback Christian Ponder struggling -- to put it mildly -- Minnesota will have to rely heavily on Adrian Peterson this week.
