Jordy Nelson's return to the Green Bay Packers' lineup remains very much in doubt.
The star wide receiver missed practice for the third consecutive day and is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
Instant Debate: Contender problems
The trade deadline has passed, but several contenders still have major holes. What's the biggest? Let's debate!
Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Friday that Nelson will be a Sunday decision, according to the team's official website. McCarthy added that Nelson was "pushed further" Friday than he was all week.
Nelson was playing his best football of the season before the injury, accumulating 243 yards and four touchdowns over back-to-back weeks. With the Packers facing a favorable matchup and a bye week looming in Week 10, McCarthy could be tempted to give Nelson three weeks to heal.
The Hamstring Monster has slayed many a skill player in this league. The Packers would be smart to play it safe with Aaron Rodgers' favorite target.
