Rex Ryan: We'll take 'hard look' at Tim Tebow's usage

Stop us if you've heard this one before. Rex Ryan is sticking with Mark Sanchez as his quarterback. And the New York Jets coach wants to get Tim Tebow the ball more.

Kriegel: Time for Tebow's turn

Mark Kriegel says the Jets are in trouble and have nothing to lose by seeing what Tim Tebow can do as their starter. **More ...**

"I think Mark's our guy, there's no doubt about that," Ryan said Monday on a conference call, via The Star-Ledger, noting that Sanchez was "fairly accurate" when he got a chance to set his feet and throw.

"I think Mark gives us the best chance to win, and that's how I feel. Can Tim be successful? ... We'll take a hard look at how we're using him."

Tebow got one snap during Sunday's 30-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins, after a week of the Jets' coaching staff saying they wanted to get him the ball more. Ryan gave his players this week off, but the coaching staff will be working.

We'll believe that Tebow's role is changing when we see it. In the meantime, the Tebow Zone will continue to collect dust.
