Michael Vick knows Andy Reid mulling Eagles QB swap

Michael Lombardi reported Sunday on NFL Network that Michael Vick's status as the Philadelphia Eagles' starting quarterback is a week-to-week proposition. Even Vick knows it.

"Obviously, (Andy Reid) is thinking about making a change at quarterback," Vick said Sunday. "If he makes that decision, I support it."

The Eagles coach was evasive about Vick's status after the team's embarrassing 30-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, saying he would go back and evaluate everything. Reid said there were some things Vick could have done better. Now, Vick hopes to get another chance.

"It's tough when you know everything is up in the balance, but that's the decision that Coach is thinking about making, and I'm going to fight until he says, 'Come on out,' and he takes me out of the game," Vick told Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com. "I can't do it by myself. I would love to stay in there and finish what I started. It would mean the world to me. But, hey, that's not my decision right now."

This would be an odd time for Reid to make a change. Vick played a turnover-free game. He wasn't perfect Sunday, but no quarterback would have made a difference with the way Philadelphia's defense played.
