Are New England Patriots still attached to Tom Brady's arm?

The Patriots actually have a running game for the first time since Mosi Tatupu. Their rushing attack actually is fifth best in the NFL. To win, though, they still have to pin things on Tom Brady's arm.

Mosi Tatupu. Very nice. But, no, for the first time in this millennium the Patriots offense rests on more than the arm of a super model's husband.

I have to give props to Bill Belichick and OC Josh McDaniels for evolving once again, but when push comes to shove, the super model's husband and your man crush, Wes Welker, will have final say.

I'd only have a man crush on Wes Welker if he wore royal purple like you. Now, the facts: Pats have four wins. In three of those, they've had the game’s top rusher. Are we noticing a trend?

Yes, and it really doesn’t matter if it's Danny Woodhead, Stevan Ridley, Brandon Bolden or Shane Vereen running the ball. It's working.

Thought we were talking Brady vs. the Backs? Check it: he threw for 300 yards against Arizona and almost 400 against Seattle. How'd that work out? Two losses.

It happens. Guess why New England is running so well? Teams fear the passing game. They're lining up in nickel and dime sets and now the Pats are making them pay by running the ball.

What? Teams just started playing nickel and dime against the Pats? The difference is the running game.

Agreed, but when teams line up to stop the run, guess what's going to happen? Brady to Gronk. Brady to Hernandez. Brady to Welker... Brady to Kriegel...

You dismiss these RBs. Make Shane Vereen sound like Ben Vereen. But they've given this team an ability to win even when Brady doesn't win the passing battle. Goodnight.

Can't dismiss the RBs and all but since you're referencing 1970s entertainers, you can't make Tom Brady seem like Peter Brady. Peace Out.
