Ndamukong Suh won't be fined for hit on Jay Cutler

Ndamukong Suh's jarring hit on Jay Cutler left the Chicago Bears quarterback huddled on the ground in pain, but it won't generate a fine.

The Detroit Lions defensive tackle wasn't flagged by officials and the league confirmed to NFL Network and NFL.com on Tuesday that Suh's hit was legal.

Suh isn't apologizing for his play, but he huddled beside Cutler on the ground after the second-quarter collision on Monday night and spoke with the passer again during Detroit's 13-7 loss to the Bears. Cutler later called it a clean play.

Suh continues to battle the perception he's a dirty player -- and he's no stranger to league fines -- but the behemoth isn't in line for the dreaded FedEx envelope this time around.
