ATL's Power Poll: Green Bay Packers among elite

Print

The Green Bay Packers are back. I've seen enough from quarterback Aaron Rodgers and company to put them back in the top four of ATL's entry of the weekly Power Poll, even ahead of their impressive division rivals in Chicago.

The Bears are legitimate Super Bowl contenders. Heck, we have six NFC teams on our list before the third AFC team. But I do my Power Poll based on what team I would pick on a neutral field right now. The Packers get the nod over the Bears despite that great Chicago defense.

Looking at the full Power Poll, I see big discrepancies in my ranking of the Atlanta Falcons, San Diego Chargers, and Miami Dolphins. The Falcons haven't played a good game in four weeks. They should be in the mix of contenders, but neither side of the ball is dominant. The Chargers' three wins came against bottom-five teams on this list. The Dolphins have played like a team ready to steal the No. 6 spot in the AFC playoffs.

ATL's entire list is below. You can see all 13 analysts picks right here.
