Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer cited team sources Thursday in reporting that Michael Vick will be the starting quarterback when the Eagles come out of their bye week. Offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg will continue to call plays.

It's amazing this report even needed to come out as a "report." But Vick's erratic play, combined with rookie Nick Foles' big preseason, makes it a legitimate question. We wouldn't be shocked to see Reid calling plays or Vick get the hook at some point this season, but the Eagles will have to be in truly desperate times.

At 3-3, Reid doesn't believe Philadelphia is there yet.
