Tom Coughlin: Every Giants back will 'have chances'

Ahmad Bradshaw's latest foot injury doesn't sound serious.

The white-hot running back returned to practice for the New York Giants on Thursday and pronounced himself ready for this week's game against the Washington Redskins.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin said Bradshaw could handle a full load, but it sounds like backups Andre Brown and rookie David Wilson will be in the mix more than usual.

"They'll all have chances," Coughlin said in comments distributed by the Giants. "They'll all have chances," Coughlin repeated several times.

Brown is returning from a concussion. Wilson has escaped Coughlin's doghouse with excellent return skills. He looks like he's playing at a different speed, and that showed up in his seven carries for 35 yards against the San Francisco 49ers last week.

Bradshaw, meanwhile, has looked better with every passing week. He has 57 carries the last two weeks, however, and the Giants would be well served to slow down Bradshaw's pace so his foot doesn't get any worse.

Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks practiced for a second consecutive day and looks as healthy as he has been in a while.
