NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Sunday that the Bills contend Williams "is not injured. We will follow up this week to obtain a formal explanation."

Griffin, the Redskins' rookie quarterback, suffered a concussion during Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The Redskins initially listed Griffin as questionable to return and said he was "shaken up." His status was never updated, and coach Mike Shanahan said after the game that Griffin was diagnosed with a concussion almost immediately.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello confirmed to NFL.com and NFL Network on Sunday that the league is looking into if the Redskins followed league procedure that requires teams be accurate and timely in reporting injury information.
