Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate secured himself a nice little place in NFL lore Monday night as the man who inadvertently set off the replacement official apocalypse.
As you might imagine, the controversial nature of Tate's Hail Mary touchdown catch brought him some added attention on Twitter. Not all of it pleasant.
Anyone want some entertainment , read my mentions. The refs made the call not me. I did my job and competed for the ball.

The man certainly did compete. Of course, a more, um, seasoned group of officials would've flagged Tate for a game-ending offensive pass-interference call. That's not on Tate, though.
Now off to read those mentions. Entertainment indeed.
