The Green Bay Packers' optimism about Greg Jennings' status for Week 3 against the Seattle Seahawks has waned. The team's top receiver missed practice Thursday with a groin injury.

"Maybe we were too optimistic. He's not quite where we hoped he'd be by now," McCarthy said, via the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
Jennings rehabbed Tuesday and then had more testing done Wednesday. It's never a great sign when further testing is following by further rehabilitation.
Guard Josh Sitton and wide receiver Randall Cobb were limited in practice, but they are expected to be ready for what should be a fun Monday night game. Folks in Seattle are wondering if the Seahawks have the best defense in franchise history. Maybe it's not that crazy that two Around the League writers picked the Seahawks to pull off the home upset.
