Chris Spencer loses Bears' starting role to Chilo Rachal

Is it really a surprise that the Chicago Bears offensive line has given up nine sacks in two weeks? Is it really a surprise that quarterback Jay Cutler snapped on one of said linemen on national television in a rough perfromance against the Green Bay Packers?

Um, no and no.

Bears coach Lovie Smith will shuffle the lineup this week at left guard as Chris Spencer will take a seat and Chilo Rachal will start. Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reported that Spencer beat out Rachal in the preseason.

Left tackle J'Marcus Webb, the subject of Cutler's ire, will keep his spot.

The Bears offensive line was the known weak link in a offense that saw Matt Forte's contract extended, Brandon Marshall signed as free agent and Alshon Jeffery drafted in the second round of the 2011 draft. The group had a horrid start against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1 before Dwight Freeney left with an injury. Clay Matthews and the Packers simply shined a primetime spotlight on the issue.
