Maurice Jones-Drew ends Jacksonville Jaguars holdout


Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew ended his holdout Sunday when he arrived at the the team's facility, according to multiple reports. A source with knowledge of the situation said MJD was expected to show up at the team facility Sunday without any modifications to his contract.

The Jaguars star runner still has two years left on his contract worth $4.45 million in base salary for 2012 and $4.95 million in 2013, according to the NFL Player Association records.

His teammate Rashad Jennings, who coach Mike Mularkey had said would start in the Jaguars' regular-season opener against the Minnesota Vikings on Sept. 9, said he greeted MJD in the locker room.

Jones-Drew's reporting ends a 38-day holdout.
