Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is $21,000 poorer because of his illegal hit on Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Byron Leftwich in the Eagles' 24-23 victory last week. DRC joked that he can't even come up with the money.
Michael Vick and Andy Reid have been there for each other through very difficult times,

"$21,000. I ain't even got that," Rodgers-Cromartie said, via CSNPhilly.com.
Not exactly known for his physical style of play, Rodgers-Cromartie says he's learned his lesson. Not that he has a choice since the money is taken directly out of his paycheck.
"I won't hit him no more, I'll tell you that much. It's not even a vicious hit. ... Shoot, he got up right from it. I mean, I'll say I left my feet. I can understand that. I can understand a fine coming," he said.
It was an obvious play to be fined. We wrote immediately last week that he would get fined heavily. If nothing else, the NFL has done a good job alerting the fans and media about what's allowed.
When a play like that happens, we all know it's only a matter of time before the fine arrives.
