Vince Young, Tyler Thigpen struggle in Bills' battle

Division rivalries die hard. Even though Vince Young is now playing in Buffalo, the Washington Redskins official Twitter account gave him the business on Thursday night.

Nice. This reminds us of New York Giants team spokesman Pat Hanlon constantly mocking the Jets on Twitter. Washington's defense gave Young plenty of problems too; Young finished 5 of 12 for 50 yards throwing the ball. He did keep two drives alive with third-down runs and wound up leading the team in rushing with 37 yards on five carries.

Young entered the game as the team's No. 3 quarterback behind Tyler Thigpen. You'd think Young's performance would hurt him in his position battle, but you'd be wrong. Thigpen completed 3 of 8 passes for 38 yards with an interception. The Bills' offense struggled all night in a 7-6 loss to Washington.

The tie will probably go to Young if this keeps up because of his running ability, experience, and upside.
