The Seattle Seahawks continue to show a very loose grasp of the rules contained in the collective bargaining agreement.
According to The Seattle Times, the Seahawks acknowledged they violated the CBA by allowing Terrell Owens to practice in shoulder pads Wednesday.

As we reported earlier, there's a three-day "acclimation period" between when a player signs and when he can practice in full pads during the preseason. Owens signed with the Seahawks on Monday and was in pads on Wednesday.
The next question is what kind of penalty the Seahawks could face. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told Around The League that both the coach and the team are subject to fines in these cases, as specified in the CBA.
This isn't the first time Carroll and the Seahawks have run afoul of the CBA. The team was docked two OTA practices for allowing live contact during a practice in June.
Citing a league source, NFL.com and NFL Network's Steve Wyche reported that punishment could be escalated because of prior practice violations. Repeat violators normally face heightened discipline, according to the source.
