This offseason has a different feel to it. We don't have to track Albert Haynesworth drama for the first time in a long time.

Harrison: On the defensive
Offenses embarrassed defenses in 2011, producing crazy numbers. Elliot Harrison says that won't happen this year. More ...

It's amazing to think a player that was still so relevant a year ago when he was dealt to the New England Patriots is now an NFL afterthought. Haynesworth, a free agent, won't fail any conditioning tests this year because he's not expected to take any. His career appears to be over.

"I think he's finished. Gotta degenerative back," Eagles defensive line coach Jim Washburn told CSNPhilly.com on Tuesday.

If Washburn thinks Haynesworth is done, he's probably done. Washburn got the most out of Haynesworth when they were together on the Tennessee Titans. Reuniting would be Haynesworth's best shot at another job after finishing last year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"Everybody hates him. I love him," Washburn said.

Everyone will remember him as a player that squandered an enormous amount of talent.
