Defensive tackle Nick Fairley also was at the practice session, according to multiple reporters on the scene.
Fairley was arrested for the second time in two months over the weekend for driving while intoxicated and eluding police. The legal system still has to run its course, but with multiple substance-abuse-related offenses, Fairley figures to eventually face discipline from the NFL.
In the meantime, he's back with his teammates. (And in no danger of losing his roster spot).
The Lions won't open the locker room to the media Tuesday, so we won't hear from Young or Fairley. Young released a statement saying he's "truly sorry" after punching teammate Louis Delmas two weeks ago.
UPDATE: Fairley was unavailable to reporters after Lions practice Tuesday. Team security escorted him and Young away from the media.
