Just when we thought the overreaction to Tim Tebow's first OTA practice with the New York Jets couldn't get any more fun, Mark Sanchez's agent chimed in. We love Twitter:
No offense media, but of course Sanchez is going to out perform Tim T. Mark is a franchise quarterback and Tim is a great athlete.

Awesome. While we can't really argue with Murphy's point that Sanchez should outperform Sanchez, it's a little eye-opening to see Sanchez's agent essentially trash-talking Tebow publicly.
It's worth remembering that Tebow was drafted in the first round because someone thought he was a franchise quarterback. It's also worth remembering how Tebow looked in practice last year. He might be one of the worst practice quarterbacks in all of football. Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn out-classed Tebow in August before the script changed in the regular season.
Not a bad day first day for Tebow-Sanchez 2012, was it?
UPDATE: Murphy realized that he had created a bit of a firestorm an hour later:
Didn't mean to create a stir nor disrespect TT who has done nothing but excel on football field. This is my opinion and time will tell.
