âWe know what Terrell Suggs brings to the table, the fear that he puts in quarterbacksâ heads. So heâs definitely going to be missed," Reed said, via SportsRadioInterviews.com, during an interview with WJZ-FM.
"Knowing that Terrell was coming off the edge at times ... you knew that ball is going to come out faster," he said.
Suggs tore his Achilles' tendon Thursday, while working out in Arizona. The reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year pledge that the injury will not force him to miss the entire 2012 season.
Reed said players will have to step up, as it will take more than one player to replace Suggs' production. He mentioned three-year veteran defensive end Paul Kruger as a guy capable of stepping up.
âIt definitely takes a team to win, so no one guy is more important than the team," Reed said. âGuys know they have to step up and itâs going to take two people to replace a Terrell Suggs."
