Gerard Warren to re-sign with New England Patriots

The New England Patriots will re-sign defensive lineman Gerard Warren, a source with knowledge of the situation said Monday.

Warren, an 11-year veteran, played in 11 games last season and recorded one sack. That came after a 2010 season during which he started 10 games and finished with 3.5 quarterback takedowns.

Warren will turn 34 in July.
