The fifth-year lineman signed a one-year $2 million contract this offseason as insurance for the oft-injured defensive tackles Gerald McCoy and Brian Price, the Bucsâ first- and second-round picks in 2010.
âWe donât have much more time, nor do (McCoy and Price),â Dominik said. âThe reality is itâs disappointing that our defensive tackles have been hurt. Itâs extremely disappointing, and theyâre frustrated and disappointed as well.â
McCoy was the third-overall pick, and Price was chosen 35th overall. The players have combined to play in 39 games over the past two seasons, together registering 10 sacks and 55 tackles.
âI still have hope, but thereâs only so much time left,â Dominik added.
