Inside the 2012 Schedule

The Steelers play three games in a 14-day stretch in October, which will tell us if this veteran team still has gas in the tank. The world will see the Steelers about every other week for a bit, with five nationally televised games all before Week 12. The NFL is preparing for a possible 2012 downturn in Steeltown.

3 Key Moments
Week 1 at Broncos
The Steelers won't play a more pass-happy team this season. Is the defense still great or did it lose too much in the offseason? Peyton Manning's stats and the outcome will tell us.
Week 11 vs. Ravens
Did last year represent a changing of the guard in the AFC North? Have the Ravens finally supplanted the Steelers as the best team in the division? The Steelers need a big effort in the first matchup to show they're still the team to beat.
Week 15 at Cowboys
Pittsburgh always thrives on winning big games. Usually, these big games are all at home. It would be quite something to get a victory in The House That Jerry Built over a potential top-five offense like the Cowboys. It's also the Steelers' first trip back to Dallas since losing Super Bowl XLV to Green Bay.
