3 Key Moments
Week 1 vs. Cowboys
The Giants can't afford to get off to a 6-6 start again. The G-Men open up at the New Meadowlands with the Cowboys, who they beat for the NFC East title on the last Sunday night of the 2011 season. If the Giants lose this game, the "Super Bowl Hangover" will start weeks early.
Week 6 at 49ers
In what might be the best game of the 2012 schedule, the Giants will need a road win to a) show that 2011 was no fluke, b) prove they can beat the best defensive team in the conference and c) stay in position to secure home-field advantage.
Week 7 vs. Redskins
Big Blue has to split here. Last season, Washington swept New York handily, outscoring Tom Coughlin's group, 51-24. Luckily for the Giants, neither the Cowboys nor the Eagles could do better than .500. That won't happen in 2012. Eli Manning has to play better than he did against the 'Skins last season (56.8 passer rating). Official Tweets
