Inside the 2012 Schedule

While everyone likely will be gunning for them, things get especially tough starting in Week 8. After visiting Peyton Manning and the Broncos, the Saints have to deal with the Eagles, 49ers and Giants, and play the rival Falcons twice. Cam Newton and the Panthers will be looking to put an exclamation point on a tough year for the Saints in Week 17.

Week 4 at Packers
Last year's kickoff game was an instant classic, unless you're a Saints fan. Winning at Lambeau this time would translate into a leg up in playoff seeding. Perhaps more importantly, the Packers offense will present a true test of how the defense will fare under new defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.
Week 10 vs. Falcons
The situation might look bleak in New Orleans, but this team has the core to win the NFC South again. In 2011, the Saints swept the Falcons, winning the division. In 2010, the Saints lost to the Falcons at home, which ultimately led to Atlanta getting the division and home-field advantage. Enough said.
Week 16 at Cowboys
The Cowboys figure to be at least a wild-card contender, so a win in JerryWorld is important for seeding purposes. Considering how tough games between these clubs have been in past years, this would be a win for organizational resilience.
