NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell could make his decision as early as Monday on the New Orleans Saints' appeals on punishments for the organization's "bounty" program, according to NFL.com's Steve Wyche.

Goodell met with Saints coach Sean Payton, general manager Mickey Loomis, assistant coach Joe Vitt and team representatives for six hours on Thursday in New York.
Payton (suspended for 2012 season), Loomis (eight-game suspension) and Vitt (six-game suspension) are seeking to have their punishments reduced.
Former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, who the league said lead the "bounty" system, has not appealed his indefinite suspension.
The NFL is still evaluating whether Saints players involved in the program will be punished. The NFLPA recently retained a law firm to provide representation to the union in the case.
