Carolina Panthers running back Mike Goodson said he has been traded to the Oakland Raiders on Friday.
Goodson, a four-year veteran, announced the news on his Twitter page.

Goodson followed up by posting, "Newest Oakland Raider !!!!! Headin to Cali!"
The Panthers confirmed the move, announcing that offensive lineman Bruce Campbell was headed to Carolina in exchange for Goodson.
“We think Bruce Campbell is a very young, talented offensive lineman who has all the physical qualities to play in this League,” Panthers general manager Marty Hurney said in a statement. “He played guard his first two seasons with the Raiders, but we will look at moving him to tackle. Mike is a talented player who gave us three good years, but our depth at running back allowed us to make this move.”
Goodson was placed on injured reserve in November after suffering a hamstring injury.
He had 103 carries in 2010, with 452 yards and three touchdowns. He also served a good option as a receiver, catching 40 passes for 310 yards in 2010.
The Raiders will likely use Goodson as a backup to starter Darren McFadden. McFadden's former running mate, Michael Bush, recently signed a long-term deal with the Chicago Bears.
