Former OC Christensen to remain with Colts as QBs coach

Clyde Christensen will remain with Indianapolis Colts as the team's quarterbacks coach, according to a league source.

Christensen, who served as the Colts' offensive coordinator for the last three seasons, was the only coach kept on staff after new general manager Ryan Grigson and head coach Chuck Pagano were brought on board. With Bruce Ariansjoining the staff as offensive coordinator, Christensen is in line to stay as quarterbacks coach, league sources said.

The Colts thought about other options and Arians considered  moving Christensen to work with wide receivers, but the team is now scheduled to speak with Christensen soon to inform him he is staying on staff in his current role.

Christensen was the Colts' wide receivers coach from 2002 to 2008 before being promoted to offensive coordinator in 2009.
