Grimm could leave Cardinals, has deep ties to Jaguars' Mularkey

Cardinals offensive line coach/offensive assistant Russ Grimm's contract in Arizona is expiring, and several teams are interested in the longtime coach, league sources said Friday.

Grimm was a longstanding member of the Pittsburgh Steelers' staff and has been a top assistant for Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt.

Grimm is close with new Jacksonville Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey. With Mularkey putting together a new offensive staff, it's worth noting the connection.

Grimm also is close to Whisenhunt, who would love to keep the trusted assistant.
