Harris, who is out for the year with a knee injury, said he has played his final snap and hopes to start a coaching career soon.
"Thatâs just Godâs way of telling me itâs time for me to turn the page," Harris said of the knee injury, according to the team's Twitter account. "I had an awesome time."
In his 14-year career, Harris played in 194 games with 21 interceptions and three touchdowns. Harris spent nearly eight seasons with the Green Bay Packers but was cut in 2010. The Packers still gave him a Super Bowl ring after the year.
"I thank God for Spags (coach Steve Spagnulo) giving me the opportunity to come out and I hope I left a positive impression on everybody," Harris said.
