Skelton over Kolb? Cardinals' Whisenhunt says 'looks that way'

It appears likely that Arizona Cardinals backup quarterback John Skelton will start in place of Kevin Kolb in Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.

Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt was asked Saturday on Sirius XM NFL Radio if Skelton would start against the Browns. His response?

"It looks that way," Whisenhunt said.

Kolb (head) was listed as questionable for the game after being limited in practice all week. He's slowly been recovering from a concussion suffered last week against the San Francisco 49ers. He will be checked out Sunday morning before a final decision is made.

In Kolb's place, Skelton threw for 282 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions while leading Arizona to an upset 21-19 win over San Francisco. If Skelton does start against Cleveland, it would be his fifth start of the season. He is 3-1 as the starter.
