Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley didn't return to Sunday's 35-7 win over the Cincinnati Bengals because of a hamstring injury, but could still be in the picture to play in the team's next game in four days.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin told reporters Woodley "felt a little tweak" in his hamstring, but didn't confirm if it was the same leg that had kept the linebacker out the last three games.Â
"He might be in play for Thursday night, but we didn't to do any major damage for today," Tomlin said.Â
Steelers right guard Ramon Foster also did not return with a sprained left ankle and was replaced by Trai Essex. Tomlin wasn't sure of Foster's availability for Thursday night against the Cleveland Browns.
The Steelers have a number of injuries at linebacker and deactivated Chris Carter (hamstring) and Larry Foote (hamstring) on Sunday.
Bengals right tackle Andre Smith also limped off the field during the second quarter with a right ankle injury and was questionable to return.
