San Diego Chargers wide receiver Malcom Floyd, who has missed the team's last four games with a hip injury, returned to practice in a limited role Wednesday and might make his return Monday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

"For what he was asked to do today, I thought Malcom was all right," coach Norv Turner said, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. "I’m anxious to see how he is tomorrow."

Floyd's return could provide a badly needed boost for the Chargers, who have dropped six straight games. Quarterback Philip Rivers has struggled with injuries on his offensive line and inconsistent play from the skill players around him.

Before his injury, the sixth-year receiver from Wyoming had 19 catches for 401 yards.
