Texans' Johnson leaves game after suffering hamstring injury

Houston Texans star wide receiver Andre Johnson was sidelined against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday having with a right hamstring injury. 

Johnson went down untouched following a short reception over the middle during the second quarter against the Steelers. He was in obvious pain and clutched at the back of his right knee before trainers made their way onto the field. Johnson was able to leave the field with trainers under his own power, and immediately walked off the sideline toward the locker room.

It was very difficult. He's the leader of this team, the leader of this franchise," Texans coach Gary Kubiak said follwing the game, which Houston won, 17-10. "If we have to go without him for a period of time, we'll have to have some guys step to the plate."

Johnson had four receptions for 36 yards before exiting the game.
