Demaryius Thomas just can't seem to get healthy.

The Denver Post reported Sunday that the Broncos wide receiver broke his finger in practice this week, the latest health-related setback for the 2010 first-round draft pick.

Thomas practiced for the first time Monday as he continues his recovery from offseason surgery on his Achilles. He injured the finger Thursday while practicing a curl pattern against cornerback Champ Bailey. The ball got on Thomas quickly, hitting his finger awkwardly, according to The Post.

Thomas finished the practice, but tests on his finger Friday revealed the break.

While surely a frustrating situation for Thomas, the injury likely won't cost him time since the receiver wasn't expected to be ready to return to action until late-September.

Thomas, the 22nd overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, missed five games last season with an ankle injury. He finished his rookie campaign with 22 catches for 283 yards and two touchdowns.
