Players from multiple teams have been holding such sessions among their own groups for weeks, but this is believed to be the first seven-on-seven workout with players from different teams during the lockout, which is in its third month.

Combined, more than 50 players -- roughly 30 from the Raiders -- are attending this players-only workout.

Wednesday's session was part of a joint three-day minicamp formulated by Competitive Edge Sports founder Chip Smith, who's out of Atlanta, and trainer Tom Shaw, who's based at Disney World's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.

Former Raiders wide receiver Javon Walker and Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor, a pending free agent, are part of the group that traveled via bus from Orlando.
