Cleveland Browns cornerback Sheldon Brown underwent offseason surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff and expects to be 100 percent by June, he told The Chronicle-Telegram in Lorain County, Ohio on Thursday.

"I won't miss time," the nine-year NFL veteran said from Charlotte, N.C., where he is going through rehabilitation.
Brown, 32, had the operation on his right shoulder after rehab failed to heal the tear. He suffered the injury during a Dec. 12 loss at Buffalo but played in the Browns' final three games, extending his consecutive-games streak to 144.
Brown underwent surgery on the same shoulder after the 2005 season to repair a torn labrum.
