RENTON, Wash. -- Seattle linebacker Lofa Tatupu went through a practice without helmets or pads, but has still not been cleared to play Sunday against Chicago in the NFC Divisional Playoffs.
Tatupu suffered a concussion in the fourth quarter of last Saturday's 41-36 upset of New Orleans on a hard collision with the Saints' Julius Jones.
Tatupu still must be cleared through the league-mandated concussion testing to play against the Bears.
Carroll says the "signs are really good" he'll be able to play against Chicago.
Bears linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa, who sat out practice Thursday with a sore knee, was not on the team's injury report on Friday. Chicago listed no injured players on its report.
