Titans WR Britt reportedly could miss as many as 6-8 weeks

Apparently, the right hamstring injury that Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt sustained early during Sunday's loss at San Diego is more serious than originally thought.

Titan Insider, citing a league source, reported late Wednesday that Britt might miss as many as six to eight weeks with the injury. That also might have played a role in the Titans' decision to make a waiver claim for Randy Moss, whom they were awarded.

The Titans, who have a bye this week, have declared Britt out for their Nov. 14 game vs. the Miami Dolphins. Coach Jeff Fisher and Britt have said the injury is not season-ending.
