Eagles make Vick No. 3 QB vs. Titans; rookie Kafka is backup

The Philadelphia Eagles plan on making Michael Vick their No. 3 quarterback for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans, according to a team source.

The decision wasn't final about one hour before kickoff, but the Eagles later confirmed that Vick would be their No. 3 quarterback.

Vick can play against the Titans, but if he enters the game before the fourth quarter, no other Eagles quarterback will be allowed to see action.

Vick, who fully participated in practice Thursday and Friday, hasn't played in a game since he sustained a rib injury during a Week 4 loss to the Washington Redskins. Kevin Kolb started in Vick's place in the next two games, and he will do so again Sunday.

Rookie Mike Kafka is Kolb's backup. Kafka hasn't taken a snap in an NFL regular-season game.
