Falcons will hold out recovering CB Robinson vs. Bengals

Atlanta Falcons cornerback Dunta Robinson will not play Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, a league source said just hours before kickoff.

The Falcons later confirmed the move when they released their inactives list.

Robinson sustained a concussion last Sunday during a collision with Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson and drew a $50,000 fine from the NFL for the helmet hit. Robinson didn't practice all week and had been listed as questionable with head and knee injuries.

Robinson signed a six-year, $57 million contract with the Falcons this offseason after spending six seasons with the Houston Texans. He had played in all six games this season, recording 24 tackles but no interceptions.
