Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Max Starks suffered a left high-ankle sprain in the Steelers 19-14 overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Starks, who was injured in the fourth quarter, left the Steelers' locker room on crutches and wearing a walking boot on his foot.
There is no official word on when Starks, in his seventh NFL season with the Steelers, will return.
Reserve tackle Jonathan Scott replaced Starks at left tackle.
The Steelers are thin at offensive line after veteran right tackle Willie Colon was placed on injured reserve in July after undergoing surgery to repair his injured right Achilles' tendon in June.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.
