Raiders add depth to backfield, agree to deal with Cartwright

Veteran running back Rock Cartwright agreed to a one-year deal with the Raiders Monday for the veteran's minimum, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

Cartwright, who is en route to Oakland for a physical, was released by the Redskins earlier in the offseason.

He started two games last season in Washington, finishing with 64 carries for 228 yards.
