Seahawks guard Sims likely to be traded after signing tender

Seattle Seahawks guard Rob Sims has signed his tender, and trade talks with several teams are ongoing, league sources said Thursday.

Sims very likely will be dealt before this month's draft, with the Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles strongly in the mix, according to sources. Sims, a restricted free agent, signed the tender early this week, and that would have to be a precursor to any trade.

Sims, a fourth-round draft pick by the Seahawks in 2006, has started 34 of 45 games, including 14 last season.
