Niswanger was injured late in the first quarter Sunday during Kansas City's second drive and limped off the field. His return is questionable.
Wade Smith, who started in place of injured left tackle Branden Albert, replaced Niswanger. Barry Richardson took over at left tackle.
Albert missed his second consecutive game with a left ankle injury.
