Willie Brown was considered one of the best, if not the best, corner in his generation. He had good size (6-foot-1, 195 pounds) and was outstanding in coverage. He was also an integral part of the Raiders' lone AFL championship team and of their first Super Bowl winning team. His current counterpart, Nnamdi Asomugha, also has great size (6-2, 210) and coverage ability. He has yet to carry the Raiders to a winning season, but he is considered one of the best corners in the league.

Associated Press If it wasn't enough that Willie Brown had a great career in Oakland and sealed the team's first Super Bowl title with a 75-yard interception return for a touchdown, what makes it even sweeter for owner Al Davis and Raiders fans is that the team acquired him from the rival Broncos in a 1967 trade. In that very first season, Brown helped bring the Raiders a title. Brown was so respected that he was a first-ballot Hall of Famer and was named to the All-AFL first team. Chris Graythen / Getty Images Although Oakland has been mired in a slump during his six-year career, Asomugha has excelled individually. He is widely recognized as one of the best cornerbacks in the game and some think he is the premier player at his position. Asomugha's interception numbers are somewhat low -- 10 in six seasons -- but that is mostly a byproduct of teams attacking Oakland's revolving door at the opposite corner and choosing not to challenge him.
