The Broncos did not catch their stride until they entered the NFL, but that does not mean they didn't have their share of quality players. One of those competitors was safety Goose Gonsoulin. The playmaking ball-hawk was considered one of the best defenders in the league. After signing veteran Brian Dawkins in the offseason, the Broncos now have another elite safety. The 13-year veteran is a seven-time Pro Bowl selection.
